Clear acrylic hourglass. The great thing about an hourglass is that is is a visual representation of the passing of time. Once the sand gradually flows from top to bottom it becomes like yesterday; never to be experienced again. You can flip it over but the moments before are gone forever. If you look at a clock you see the hours that have gone before and the hours yet to come but an hourglass is empty and shows no future unless you begin again.

I am a student of light. Fascinated by the intricacies of light and the subtleties of shadow. While I explore the many facets of photography and subject matter, I always return to Fine Art and Still Life. Properly done, a Still Life image can transport you to another place, another time, another emotion. The still life and fine art images contained on these pages represent my passion.
